Master sergeant Robert Porter was a flight engineer in 1947 and in a 2014 video interview, he claims that after the Roswell UFO crash, "pieces of a flying saucer" were flown to the Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, Texas, and then to Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.

Porter described loading a very lightweight triangular package (around two and a half feet across the bottom) as well as three small shoe box-sized packages with plain brown wrapping paper and tape. He said all of it could fit into the trunk of a car. He said the triangle-shaped package was so light, it felt like it was empty!
